Ernest Reed, 87, of Cameron died Monday morning is a Rosebud hospital.
Mr. Reed was born in Gunnersville, Ala., and was a retired farmer.
Funeral service was held at 4:30 p. m. Tuesday at Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home, the Rev. J. E. Lafferty officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Reed of Elgin; two sons, Jimmy Reed of Bastrop and Andy Reed of Waco; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Angell of Cameron and Mrs. Lee Moore of San Antonio; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were E. J. Provasek, Ferrol Angell, Edwin Kohutek, Carl Black, Claude Burgess and John Talboll.
