SPEARMAN - Services for Mrs. Effie Pearl Hackley, 58, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Spearman Church of Christ with Bill Osborne, former minister, officiating. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Born in Hansford County, Mrs. Hackley had been a lifetime resident of that area before he death Tuesday.

She was a member of the Spearman Church of Christ and past president of Texas State Osteopathic Auxiliary. She married Oscar Archer in 1940 in Amarillo and following his death, she married Dr. D.E. Hackley in Victoria in 1957.

She is survived by a son, Bobby Archer of Spearman; one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Patterson of Spearman; a step-daughter, Mrs. Joan Crum of Amarillo; three sisters, Mrs. Voncile Chaney of Borger, Mrs. Mae Bretz and Mrs. Mary Lamb of Gruver; five brothers, Sam and Pete Cluck, both of Gruver, Eldon and Gene Cluck, both of Amarillo and Pike Cluck of Dumas; and seven grandchildren.
