Ida Belle Lowry was the daughter of Samuel C. Lowry 1850-1876 and Pernicia C. Rogers 1851-1920 They had three children:

Sula Etta Lowry 1876-?
Her family moved from Prentiss County, Mississippi to Wise County, Texas around 1872. After the death of Samuel Lowry, Pernicia married Andrew J. Crawford on Nov 07, 1888 in Wise County, Texas.

Ida Belle Lowry married James C. Champion on Sep 22, 1889 in Wise County, Texas.
They had three children:
Artie E. Champion Easterling 1893-1931 died in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Gilbert Champion 1897-?
Theo Enlo Champion Conner 1899-1988

Mr. James C. Champion died Jan. 3, 1900. The June 1, 1900 census Ida and the children were living in Alvord, Texas with her mother Pernicia and step-father Andrew J. Crawford. The April 19,1910 Census listed Ida as a widow head of household running a boarding house in Plainview, Hale County, TX. In the 1920 census, Ida was running a boarding house in Slaton, Lubbock Co. Texas and her mother Pernicia C. Rogers Lowry Crawford was living with her as was daughter Theo.
The 1930 Census taken on April 9, 1930 Ida B. Lowry Champion and her daughter Artie E. were living in Corpus Christi, Texas.
