SPEARMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Locke Kirk, 79, who died Friday in North Plains Hospital in Borger, will be at 4:30 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church.

The Rev. H.O. Abbott, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Kirk, a Spearman resident since 1919, was born in Lorena. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Delon Kirk in 1919 at Lorena. He died in November 1974.

She was a member of the Spearman Rebekah Lodge and a charter member of Spearman 20th Century Club. She formerly was active in Panhandle Pen Women Club, and was a news correspondent for the Borger News-Herald in the 1950's-60's.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Martha Delon Allison of Spearman; one brother, Col. Frank Locke of Waco; and one granddaughter.
