Graveside services for Celestino Espino, 84 of Seminole will be held Wednesday, November 4 (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the Gaines County Cemetery offciating under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
Celestino passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Lamesa. He was born April 6, 1936 to Isac and Guadalupe Zavala Espino. He married Alicia Gutierrez in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1956. He moved to Seminole in 1973, worked as a handyman until he retired and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alicia Gutierrez, daughter Maria R. Villarreal, son Ramon Espino, two sisters Anastacia and Manuela Espino, four brothers Jose, Gregorio, Bonifacio and Norberto Espino.
Celestino is survived by six sons: Juan Manuel, Javier, Francisco, Celestino Jr., Ricardo and Juan De Dios Espino; one daughter Celia Alvidrez; one sister Maria De Refugio Espino Grado and one brother Jose Angel Espino along with 39 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
