FORGAN, Okla. - Ada Rose Phelps, 73, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forgan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Fox officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Holt Cemetery in Hutchinson County, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman, Texas.

Mrs. Phelps was born in Hutchinson County. She had lived in the Forgan area since 1958, moving from Beaver. She married Robert B. Phelps in 1946 at Amarillo. He died in 1996.

She was a homemaker and a member of Forgan United Methodist Church. She was an antique collector and dealer and a member of the Beaver County Historical Society.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Packard of Medicine Lodge, Kan.; two sons, Bruce Phelps of Aurora, Colo., and Derek Phelps of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Ruth Chisum of Stinnett, Texas; a brother, Doyle Jackson of Spearman; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Spearman and from 5 to 9 p.m. in Perryton.

The family requests memorials be to Forgan United Methodist Church, Box 308, Forgan, Okla. 73938; or the Ronald McDonald House, 1501 Streit Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
