*Obituary
Nora Vela Parks Groves, 89, of Stinnett, died Wednesday at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Stinnett, with Pete Hanks, minister officiating and Mr. Bill Blakeney assisting. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery at Morse under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Groves was a member of Church of Christ in Stinnett. She married Richard Groves on Dec. 23 1914 in Hutchinson County.
She is survived by her husband Richard of Stinnett; four daughters, Alma Hybarger of Downey, Calif., Mrs. Merle Lollar of Arvada, Colo., Mrs. Ida Pierce of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Rubye Parker of Fritch; one son, J. R. Groves of Perryton; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Hybarger, Mike Schlaeger, Frank Groves, Joe Parker, Kim Parker, Dale Lollar and Denny Deaver.
