STINNETT (Special) - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stinnett High School auditorium for Paul Jones, 58, county commissioner of precinct three since 1947, with Rev. O.M. Butler, pastor of the Stinnett Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Leib Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown Funeral Director.
All county offices will be closed Wednesday for funeral service, officials said today.
Jones was a member of the Stinnett Methodist Church, Plemons Masonic Lodge 877, Order of the Eastern Star 347, and a member and past president of the Stinnett Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Corinne Jones, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Reger, Stinnett; two step-sons, Wayne and James Sever, both of Lubbock; a step-daughter, Mrs. Frank Wesberry, Stinnett; two sisters, Mrs. R.E. Springer, Bunavista, and Mrs. Hubert Foust, Graham; seven brothers, Sam, Milton and Roy Jones, all of Midland, C.C. Jones, Lubbock, and Walter Wallace and Collins Jones of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Active pall bearers will be A.A. Bullard, O.C. Holt, Foye Terry, C.E. Bates, Judge Norman Coffee and C.A. Bean.
Honorary pall bearers will be Hubert Hays, Curley Ferguson, Bert Bryan, J.E. Early, Adrian Johnston, Bud Snyder and the members of the Stinnett Kiwanis Club.
