MORSE - Joe Harry Reiswig, 83, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, in Borger.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Lieb Cemetery with Dr. Don Travis, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Reiswig served in the U.S. Army as a private first class with the tank destroyers. He served as a clerk typist, was stationed in France and came home on board the Queen Mary.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Reiswig; two sons, Gary Reiswig of Fritch and Travis Reiswig of Morse; two daughters, Judy Bouldin of Stratford and Gayle Crawford of Gruver; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Gruver EMT, P.O. Box 144, Gruver, TX 79040; or Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
