A.B. Stevenson, 36, died Sunday morning at 12:45 a.m. following a fall from his apartment over the Stinnett drug store. He suffered a fractured skull and was dead upon arrival at North Plains hospital.

Stevenson had gone to the window to raise it; his wife said and apparently suffered a fainting spell or became overbalanced. The window had no screen. Mrs. Stevenson saw him fall and summoned the ambulance.

The attending physician reported that Stevenson had scratches on his hands and stomach, indicating that he had sought to cling to the window before plunging to the ground.

Stevenson, an employee of Gus Irvin as oil field worker, is survived by his wife; two daughters, Patricia Sue and Bonnie Lou; his mother, Mrs. Noah A. Stevenson, Stinnett; five sisters, Mrs. J.C. Matney and Mrs. Tom Henderson, both of Stinnett, Mrs. Roy Park of Dumas, Mrs. F.M. Parker of Dial, and Mrs. Gilbert Smith of Bell Flower, Calif., two brothers, Lee of Stinnett, and O.Roy Stevenson of Ft. Worth.

Services were conducted in the auditorium of Pringle school at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Mr. M. McDonald, minister of the Church of Christ in Borger, and the Rev. D.L. Egger, pastor of the Methodist church in Stinnett, officiating.
