MORSE - (HC) - Funeral services for Thomas Carl Tompkins, 63, of Agnew, Calif., will be held at the Morse Baptist Church Thursday at 2:30 p.m. He was a former resident of the Morse community. He served as first custodian of Morse school, a position he held for ten years prior to moving to Calif.
The Rev. Paul Nelson of Munday and Rev. Robert Stackhouse, pastor of the Morse Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Leib Cemetery under the direction of the Sunray Funeral Home.
Tompkins died Saturday in Agnew. He was born in Munday, Tex.
Survivors are two sons, Truman of Lakeport, Calif. and T.W. of Redwood City, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Rae Payatt of Redwood City; half-brothers, R.B. of Fort Worth; H.L. of Sunray and Tommy of Dallas; sisters, Mrs. Clyde Nelson of Munday and Mrs. Ruth Parks of Fort Worth, and seven grandchildren.
