Betty Jo Alford, 84, of Amarillo died Friday, May 19, 2017.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Conny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Betty was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Henderson to Joe and Ruby Cagle Taylor. She married Robbie Alford on Oct. 3, 1987, in Borger. Betty worked for Popular Supply for 18 years. She enjoyed playing games, especially wahoo. In fact, nothing brought more joy than playing games with her grandkids and visiting with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Raymond and Calvin Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, Robbie; three daughters, Twanna VanLoon and husband Wilson of Borger, Lorie Harrelson and husband Brad of Amarillo and Ginger DeLaune and husband Lee of Orange Grove; four sons, Wayne Reed and wife Annelle of Amarillo, Steve Reed of Borger, Roger Reed and wife Pam of Amarillo and Ronnie Alford and wife Angela of Borger; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Dawson McAllister Association, P.O. Box 1835, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
