January 13, 1954 - October 12, 2017

Michael Wayne Allen of Borger passed away, Thursday, October 12, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 17 at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. Family and friends visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mike was born in Stanford, Kentucky to Enoch Benjamin and Jewell Mae (Wells) Allen. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Jerri Cross on April 12, 1991 in Borger. Mike was a truck driver for Groendyke Transport. He loved working on cars and watching NASCAR. He loved his ice cream, his dogs and especially adored his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jerri; son Peyton Allen and wife, Shelby of Borger; daughters, Krista Miller of Borger, Shyla Simmonds and husband, Jeff of Zionsville, IN, and Michelle Fraley and husband, Kendall of Borger; brother, Joseph ''Joey'' Allen of Skellytown; sisters, Judy Allen, Vicki Dykes Jenkins, Jacquie Casey, Debra Allen, Marilyn Christopher all of Kentucky and Donna Stewart of Borger. Mike was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Donavan, Hayden, Jaira, Hunter, Aspyn, Kale, Nathan, Zayden, and Jordan.
