Services for Frank B. Armsworthy, 62, of 11 Stark in Phillips, are pending with Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Armsworthy was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital this morning of an apparent heart attack.

He was a member of the Phillips United Methodist Church and an operator at Phillips Petroleum Co. Refinery Plant. He had been a resident of this area since 1936.

Survivors include his wife, Rena; one son, Ronald of San Antonio; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine McAfee of Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. Tommie Lee Hennings of Austin and Mrs. Gladys Ruth Robinson of Denison; his mother, Mrs. F.B. Armsworthy Sr. of Denison; and three grandchildren.

Services for Frank B. Armsworthy, 62, of 11 Stark Street, Phillips, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Phillips United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Armsworthy, a resident of this area since 1936, was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital Tuesday of an apparent heart attack.

He was a member of the Phillips United Methodist Church and an operator at Phillips Petroleum Co. Refinery Plant.

Pallbearers will be Gordon King, J.R. Brown, R.D. White, H.A. Shipley, Les Hargis, and Roy White.

Honorary pallbearers will be A.G. Smith, I.A. Tabor, L.E. Brain, D.E. Kelley, R.E. Williamson, and E.E. Groves.

Rena E. Armsworthy, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in Crown of Texas Hospice in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. John Dorn, pastor of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Armsworthy was born on May 3, 1913, and was a native of Bridgeport and a Phillips and Borger resident for 67 years. She was a housewife and member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Armsworthy in 1976.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Armsworthy of Borger; one daughter, Elaine Chadwick of Colorado Springs, Colo,; a sister, Jackie Anderson of Madill, Okla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
