Rena E. Armsworthy, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in Crown of Texas Hospice in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. John Dorn, pastor of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Armsworthy was born on May 3, 1913, and was a native of Bridgeport and a Phillips and Borger resident for 67 years. She was a housewife and member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Armsworthy in 1976.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Armsworthy of Borger; one daughter, Elaine Chadwick of Colorado Springs, Colo,; a sister, Jackie Anderson of Madill, Okla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
