Funeral services for James C. Aubrey, 79, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Jeruseleum [sic] Church of God with the Rev. Ricky Horton officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Aubrey died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1995 in Veterans Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Homer, La., he had been a Borger resident for 50 years. He was a retired car reconditioner. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include two sons, James Aubrey of Killeen; and Johnny Aubrey of Liberal, Kan.; a daughter, Alpha Powell of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Lyndell Brown, Roger Hughes, Ricky Davis, Cody Horton, Gary Horton, and Bryan Powell.
