*Obituary for Alvin
FRITCH - Alvin A. Auld, 85, of Fritch, died Monday, Dec. 27, in Trinity Lutheran Home in Round Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Lake Meredith Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Auld was a native of Carter County, Okla. He was a retired employee of J.M. Huber Corporation.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Borger.

Mr. Auld was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Irene Auld, in 1986; and a brother, Olvin Auld.

Survivors include one son, Michael Eugene Auld of Round Rock; three daughters, Betty Combs of Amarillo, Sandra Kay Brewer of Lake Texhoma, and Pennie Lou Ormsby of Hobbs, N.M.; five brothers, Roswell Auld, Truman Auld, and Lee Auld, all of Hobbs, N.M.; I.V. Auld of Lake Texhoma and Thurman Auld of Chickasha, Okla.; two sisters, Lorraine Latimer and Nola Brown, both of Hobbs, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Betty Irene Auld, 64, 500 Oak, Fritch, died at 11:15 a.m. July 21 in St. Anthony's Hospital, Amarillo.

A school cafeteria worker, she was a native of Salina, Okla., and a Hutchinson County resident for 60 years.

She was a member of the Lake Meredith Baptist Mission, Cafeteria Workers Association of Borger, and was a Sunday School teacher and nursery worker for the First Baptist Church in Borger.

She married Alvin Archie Auld Nov. 8, 1940.

She is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Michael E. Auld of Roundrock; three daughters, Betty Auld Combs of Fritch, Sandra Auld Brewer of Perryton, and Pennie Auld Ormsby of Hobbs, N.M.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Newman of Borger; two sisters, Nova Pruiett of Borger and Flora Dacus of Fritch; one brother, J.R. Newman of Pampa; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral/graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander-Morton Chapel of Memorials with D.Jay Lewis, Lake Meredith Baptist Mission officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Morton Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers were Terry Pruiett, Rex Dobbs, Glynn Dobbs, Kelly Newman, Joey Rose, and J.D. Selman.
