FRITCH - Red Austin, 87, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Amarillo.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.
Casket bearers will be Kendall Glover, Lyle Kinnamon, David Burris, Justin Whatley, Chad Burris, Cameron Glover, Heath Hardy Jared Glover and Drew Hardy.
Mr. Austin was a native of Robert Lee and a longtime Fritch resident, He was retired from J.M. Huber Corp. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fritch.
Survivors include his wife, Lona of Fritch; five daughters, Neva Burris, Barbara Hardy, Rhonda Glover, Jackie Whatley, all of Fritch and Karol Kinnamon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Merlene Bramlett of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Callie Malone of Grapevine; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
