*Obituary
Alston K. "Al" Barnett, 83, Borger, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1990, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of Gardner Street Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Boyd, he had been a Borger resident for 19 years. He was a retired district manager with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company.
Mr. Barnett was a member of Okemah Masonic Lodge No. 234 AF&AM, Kiva [sic] Temple in Amarillo, and Lubbock Scottish Rite Bodies. He attended Southwestern State College in Ada, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Barnett, in 1987.
Survivors include two sons, David Barnett of Fritch; and Richard Barnett of El Paso; one brother, Meryl G. Barnett of Borger; one sister, Cledith Craddock of Chickasaw, Okla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
