Bobby Oran Barringer, 68 (Buffalo or Bus Driver Bob), beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away July 7, 2015.

He was born in Borger to Bill and Evelyn Barringer on July 22, 1946 and married his wife Brenda (Tootsie) on Feb. 18, 1972. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains, (Borger). Pastor Richard Kasko is the officiant. Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery.

Bob worked at The Pantex Plant for 40 years, retired from the Texas National Guard after 20 years of service and drove a bus for the Borger ISD for the last 8 years. He was a previous Boy Scout Leader and active in The American Legion Post #671 in Borger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his cabin in South Fork Co. and loved to cook.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Evelyn, and a grandson, Jeremy McCullar. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, one brother, Otho Young and wife Darlene of Grand Junction Co. and two sisters, Darena Guthrie of Fritch, TX and Pam Low and husband Bill of Bartlesville, Ok. He is also survived by two daughters and two sons. Shari Chavez and husband Efraim of Denver, Co., Brad Tyler and wife Mary of Borger, Tx., Kay Lee and husband Lester of McLean, Tx., and Bobby Chad Barringer of Borger, Tx. ; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be at Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains on Thursday July 9, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m.

In leiu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bob to the American Legion Post# 671, P.O. Box 1371 Borger, TX. 79007.
