BORGER — Donald E. "Gene" Barton, 79, died Saturday, June 7, 2014.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Borger with the Rev. Eric Barton and the Rev. Charlie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Barton was born Sept. 22, 1934, in Borger. He served in the Navy during the Korean war.
Survivors include his wife Sylvia; two sons, Steve Barton of Corpus Christi and Eric Barton of Tyler; and four grandchildren.
