BORGER - Kenneth King Beaty, 54, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, in Mustang, Okla.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Mustang United Methodist Church in Mustang. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Westlawn Memorial Park. Oklahoma arrangements are by McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service. Local arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

On April 25, 1993, he was captured by a band of Iraqi border agents claiming he had crossed into Iraq from northern Kuwait. He was released in November 1993, after 205 days in a Baghdad jail.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Delise Smith Beaty; two daughters, Jordan Alexis Beaty and Austin Makenzie Beaty, both of Borger; a stepfather, J.C. Prince of Fritch; three brothers, Robert Beaty and Jerry Prince, both of Borger, and Bill Beaty of Kermit; and a sister, Sharon Smith of Fritch.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
