Borger News Herald - October 17, 1977
Ivan W. Bolls, 74, of 106 S. Longwood, Fritch, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in Slaton.
A longtime resident of Fritch, Bolls was serving as Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2. He had served as chief of police and city judge in Fritch.
A retired employee of Phillips Petroleum Co., he was active in the Fritch Lions Club, the Texas and National Sheriff's Associations, and Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge No. 1369. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Roberts of Slaton; three brothers, Frank Bolls of Fritch; John Bolls of Stockton, Calif., and W.D. Bolls of Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ineta White of Ocola, Fla.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. C.N. Rue, pastor of the Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo officiating and the Rev. Kenneth L. Curtis, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fritch, assisting.
Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Masonic graveside rites will be under the auspices of Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge No. 1369.
Honorary pallbearers will be all area law enforcement officers.

FRITCH - Ollie Mae Bolls, 88, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1992 in St. Anthony's Hospice iin Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Stigler, Okla., she had been a Fritch resident for 53 years. She was a homemaker and member of Slaton Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan W. Bolls in 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Roberts of Amarillo; two brothers, Ira Ross of Alabama; and Loy Ross of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Alta Humphreys and Opal Hampton, both of Borger; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
