Obituary
Borger News Herald - December 27, 1988
L.B. "Buck" Bonds, 55, 1027 Thrams, died Saturday, December 24 at his home in Borger.
An operator for Phillips Petroleum Company, he was a native of Los Angeles, Calif. and a Borger resident since 1952.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rena Bonds of the home; a daughter, Karen A. Watts of Refugio; a son, Orval Bonds of London, England; a sister, Florence Tow of Amarillo; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Miller, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Casketbearers were Jim Logan, Mike Kelley, G.W. "Dub" Long, Theodore "T" Owens, James Manasco, R.J. McElroy.
