BORGER - Alice Pauline "Polly" Brandon, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Borger, died Sunday, March 20, 2005.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with Scott Maze, pastor, and the Rev. Robert Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brandon was born April 11, 1921, in Ellis, Kan. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, David Brandon of Borger and Mack Brandon of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Iva Vavak and Patty Symmes, both of California; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 5800, Borger, TX 79008-5800; or The Village at Ware Memorial Care Center, 1300 S. Harrison St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
