Evelyn Joy Brinson, 76, of Fritch, died Tuesday, August 29, in Amarillo.
Mrs. Brinson was born May 8, 1913 at Carter, OK. She was the daughter of the late J.L. Burt and Maude Butler Griggs Burt.
Mrs. Brinson graduated from Wellington High School in 1930 and attended North Texas State University.
She married Roy D. Brinson on August 7, 1936 in Wellington. She had been a Fritch area resident since 1943.
Mrs. Brinson was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are one son, Bert Brinson of Amarillo, one daughter, Beverly Fry of Dumas; one brother, J.L. Burt, Jr. of Denver, CO and two sisters, Dela B. Ford of Wellington and Aries Bullock of Arlington. There are six grandchildren.
