Obituary for Earnest
We lost our father, brother, uncle and Papa on December 5, 2020. Earnest Rhodes went to be with his beautiful wife and Lord and Savior.
Earnest is survived by his daughter Belinda Steadmon and her husband Mike of Odessa, Earnie Rhodes and his wife Sharon of Bluff Dale and daughter Cristie Campbell of Odessa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Aaron Steadmon, Paul Rhodes, Heather Steadmon, Mark Rhodes, Brandon Rhodes, Logan Campbell and Maddy Campbell. His great-grandchildren are Nykayla Steadmon, Robyn Steadmon, Austin Rhodes, Grant Rhodes and Colt Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Wanda Rhodes, his father Earl Rhodes, his mother Cora Rhodes and his brother Earl Rhodes.
Earnest worked in the oilfield his entire life. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He never failed to tell them how proud he was of them. He was a man of a lot of words that loved to visit with anyone about politics, religion or any other topic that came up. He was a devoted father, papa, uncle and brother. He has now joined hisbeautiful wife and they are again, hand in hand. Fly high Dad. You will be missed.
Family visitation was held Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home, Seminole.
