Obituary
Funeral services for Benjamin Mares, age 38 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. The church will allow a limited number of attendees inside for the funeral service, and it is suggested that a mask be worn and social distancing practiced, in keeping with CDC guidelines.
Mr. Mares was born February 19, 1982 in Andrews, Texas to Janie Mares. He worked in construction. He was a hard working man and a great boss. He enjoyed motorcycles, fitness training, and boxing.
Benjamin Mares passed away at his home on Saturday, December 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. He is survived by two sisters, Marie Neufeld of Seminole and Norma Mares of Odessa, Texas; one nephew, Izayiah Garza of Odessa, Texas; and two nieces, Nadia Garza and Lexy Garza, both of Odessa, Texas.
