Obituary
Graveside services for Eddie Ontiveros, Sr., age 64 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Gaines County Cemetery with Father Jose de Dios Gonzalez officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Ontiveros was born October 11, 1956 and adopted by Ofelia and Evaristo Ontiveros in San Antonio, Texas. He married the love of his life, Carmelita Casarez in Seminole, Texas on April 15, 1978 and worked in the oilfield for eight years. He was a devout Catholic and always put God before anything. Eddie loved being a D.J. and listening to music, attending Catholic retreats and praying for people. He was known for his great personality, spreading joy and love to everyone. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly.
Eddie Ontiveros, Sr. passed away at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas on Friday, November 27, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Carmelita Ontiveros of Seminole; four sons, Eddie Ontiveros, Jr., Matthew Ontiveros and wife Rachel, and San Lucas Ontiveros, all of Seminole; Moses Ontiveros and wife Regina of Odessa, Texas; one daughter, Helen Ledesma and husband Marty of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Silvia Rojas and Mary Helen Balderas, both of Utah; thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. www.boyerfuneral home.net
