FRITCH - Charles A. "Charlie" Brittain, 56, Fritch, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch with the Rev. Eddie Marcum, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Fritch, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of Wheeler, he had been a Fritch resident for 35 years. He was a warehouseman for MAPCO.

Mr. Brittain was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fritch and the Hutchinson County Sheriff's Posse.

Survivors include his wife, Twila of the home; two sons, Derk Brittain of Gatesville; and Marty Brittain of Fritch; one daughter, Amanada Crawford of Fritch; his father, Charlie Brittain of Amarillo; three sisters, Evaleene Anderson of Canyon; Lynn Brittain of Amarillo; Gwen Reed of White Deer; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Twila Beth Brittain, 77, died Sunday, November 08, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at The Oasis Southwest Baptist in Amarillo at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Chester Beavers will officiate. Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Borger, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Twila was born on November 11, 1937 in Wheeler, Texas to Aleene and GB Anderson. She married Charles Brittain in 1953 in Kelton, Texas.

Twila worked many years for the Fritch School System.

Twila was preceded in death by her parents, Aleene and GB Anderson, her brother, Gaylon and sister, Linda as well as her husband, Charles.

The family will receive guests Monday, November 9th from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the funeral home.

Twila was survived by her children Derk Brittain and wife Debbie of Sweetwater; daughter Amanda Felder and husband Floyd of Amarillo; son, Marty Brittain and wife Donna of Monahans; her two sisters, Sandra Anderson and Nelda Miley of Amarillo. She had 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 S. Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109, Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Foundation to benefit the patients of BSA Hospice, 1600 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106, or Alzheimers Association, 415 W. 8th Ave., Suite 300, Amarillo, TX 79101.
