BORGER - Opal Marie Bryan, 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Maze, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Bryan was born March 11, 1917, in Pinch, W. Va. She was a Borger resident since 1942. She married W. Paul Bryan Sr. in 1935 in Odessa, and he preceded her in death in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosa Jarrett; a son, Paul Jr. in 1997; a brother, Wilbur Jarrett; and a sister, Ethel Metz in 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Forrest and husband Bob of Borger and Glenna Berinti and husband Mark of Fritch; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Bryan of Fritch; seven grandchildren, Bobby Forrest, Jeff Forest, Tammy Bryan Hampton, Chris Bryan, Lonnie Bryan, Angela Berinti Brinson and Todd Berinti; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
The family suggests memorials be to Gideons International, P.O. Box 5800, Borger, TX 79008.
