Funeral services for Jack Edison Bucy, 16, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gardner Street Church of Christ with Mr. J.R. Chism, minister, officiating.
Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Minton Mortuary.
The youth died Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospital, Amarillo, following surgery. He was a student at Borger High School, and a member of the Bulldog basketball team.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bucy, 121 Kiekbusch; sister, Sandra Gail of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Bucy of Duncan, Okla., Me. and Mrs. Ed Carter, Cedar Rest, Okla.
Active casketbearers are Nicky Nichols, Roger Fryar, David Willard, Cole Fraley, Frank Chavez, Kenney Harper, Leslie Moorhead, and Jimmy Head. Honorary pallbearers are member of Borger Basketball team.
Casketbearers are Buford Cherry, John Baber, B.V. Floyd, Tom Brown, Ray Springer, and J.L. Sands.
