Earl Burton, 78, of 1203 West Madison St., died at 2:25 p.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Alexander Chapel of Memories with Dr. Robert C. Burton, of Canyon, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Burton was born in Coleman, and had been a Borger resident for 57 years. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 22 years as an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; three sons, Dr. Robert Burton of Canyon, Roy A. Burton of Fresno, Calif., and Richard E. Burton of Borger; three daughters, Joyce Derrick of Farmington, N.M., June Clifton of Amarillo, and Ja'Net Flanery of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Lilly Cox of Weatherford; 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons Ammon Burton, Roger Burton, Randall Burton, Douglas Derrick, Calvin Derrick and Ronald Burton.
