BORGER - Joseph Weldon Bybee, 89, died Monday, May 24, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Jones, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Good Shepherd in Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Bybee was born in Paris, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1945. In 1976, he retired as a machinist for Pantex Ordinance. He also was a barber for 50 years and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

He married Bonita Adkins in 1936 at Jayton.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ed Bybee of Stinnett, Harold Bybee of Borger and Wayne Bybee of Amarillo; a daughter, Helen Stanford of Amarillo; a brother, James Bybee of South Fork, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren.

The family will be staying at 508 Alabama in Borger.
