FRITCH - J.D. "Jay" Cannefax, 84, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in Borger. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Cannefax was in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired from Fish Construction in Borger as a carpenter.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Boothe of Borger; a brother, Bob Cannefax of Borger; a sister, Lola Mae Luman of El Paso; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
