May 8, 1935 - March 30, 2014

Robert "Mickey" Carlisle, 78, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday, April 5, 2014 at First Assembly of God in Fritch under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. His memory may be honored with a gift to BSA Hospice, c/o Olivia's Angels, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas, 79105.

Robert was born May 8, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama to Clyde and Sara Carlisle. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married Virginia Kossey on February 14, 1958 in Phillips, Texas. Robert was a member of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge and the Trap Shooting Association. Nothing compared to the joy and love his son, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought to his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents; great-grandchild, Rusten Moreno; and sister, Tommy Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia of the home; son, Danny Carlisle and his wife, Janet of Borger; grandchildren, Dea Moreno and her husband, Omar, Heath Carlisle and his wife, Shealee; great grandchildren, Rance, Ryler, Raiden, Branlee, Wyatt, Tripp; sisters, Ann, Sue; and his dog, Winston.
