C.A. Carlton, 85, of 1020 Penn Ave., died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in his home.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Medina County, Ohio, he had been a Borger resident for many years. He was a retired director of labs at J.M. Huber Corp., and member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline; two sons, Richard of Corpus Christi, and John of Cherry Point, N.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Shaw of Bellingham, Wash.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carrie Pauline Carlton, 85, of 1020 Penn, died Sunday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital.

Private graveside services for Mrs. Carlton will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. Robert E. Presnall, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Funeral arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Presnall officiating.

A housewife, Mrs. Carlton was a native of Meigs County, Ohio, and a Borger resident for 46 years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the American Red Cross, Gray Lady, 20th Century Club and the Eastern Star.

Survivors are two sons, Richard of Corpus Cristi and John of Cherry Point, N.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty J. Shaw of Bellingham, Wash.; two brothers, Howard H. Beach of Ft. Branch, Ind., and Robert D. Beach of Sun City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
