Obituary for Robert
Services were held at 11 a.m. today for Robert M. Carp, 57, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Carp, Hutchinson County's county judge, died Wednesday morning. He had lived in the area for 18 years.

Mr. Carp had been county judge for four years and had practiced law for almost 25 years. He was a member of several legal organizations and was past president of the Borger Bar Association.

The judge was a member of VFW Post 1789 and was a disabled veteran of World War II.

He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Hella Temple in Dallas and Khiva Temple in Amarillo and of the Borger Shrine Club.

Surviving are his wife, four daughters, two sons, a brother, and a sister.

Obituary for Denzil
AMARILLO - Dee Carp, 77, died Wednesday, August 11, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 13, at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger with Father Joe Kennedy, of St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Borger, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Schooler Funeral Home in Amarillo.

Mrs. Carp was born in Hutchinson County and moved to Amarillo in 1985, from Borger.

She was a retired artist.

She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Amarillo, Daughter of the Nile in Amarillo, Eastern Star, Happy Chapter #562, VFW Auxiliary of Borger, Teacher's PAC, and Borger Creative Art Club.

She was former owner of LaDee's Collectibles.

She was a former member of Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Borger, Eastern Star, Tri-City Porcelain Arts and Amaryllis Porcelain Arts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Carp, in 1978, and twin daughters, Jerrie Lynn and Judy Kay Townsend, in 1942 and her parents Lloyd and Maude Lieb Henderson.

Survivors include two nieces, cousins and five step-children.
