*Obituary
Funeral services for Harold A. Carpenter, 63, were held at 3 p.m. today from Minton Memorial Chapel with Mrs. Sylvia Raber, Christian Science reader, officiating.
Carpenter was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m. Saturday on arrival at North Plains Hospital. He had resided in Borger only a short time, and was employed as patrolman for Commercial Patrol in Illinois.
Surviving is his wife, Cecil, of the home at 402 N. Harvey.
Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park was under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Casketbearers were M.L. Flegle, E.D. Garrett, A.R. Raber, Elvin Ryder, M.W. Sweet, John R. Yows.
