*Obituary
Opal Ivaneta Carpenter, 60, of 115 Ash, died at 2:50 p.m. August 6 in Borger.
A homemaker, she was a native of Lookeba, Okla., and a Borger resident for 35 years.
She was a member of Eternal Light Pentecostal Church and moved to Borger in April, 1951.
She was preceded in death two sons, Randy Carpenter and Calvin Carpenter; one daughter, Vickie Eason.
She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Carpenter of the home; one son, Jodie Carpenter of Plano; one daughter, Deanna Parks of Plano; four sisters, Rosey Berry and Mary Isebelle of Cordell, Okla., Lois Dodd of Clinton, Okla., and Alodine Strain of Lookeba, Okla.; one brother, Shelton Martin of Borger; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gib Isbell, L.J. Fells, Gene Stowers, James Wall and Ray Wall.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Morton Funeral Directors.
