Paul C. Carpenter, 67, Borger, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1993 in the Veterans Hospital in Dallas.

Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Comanche, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 42 years. He was a retired shop worker with L.J. Sells Trucking. He was a member of Eternal Light Pentecostal Church, and a World War II Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal in 1986, a daughter, Vickie Eason in 1982, and a son, Calvin Carpenter in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Parks of Plano; a son, Jodie Carpenter of Allen; a sister, Lucille Taylor of Eakley, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
