Francis S. Carr, 75, Borger, died Friday, March 15, 1991 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Bartlesville, Okla., [he] had been a Borger resident for 44 years.

He retired from Phillips Petroleum Company after 46 years, and was a Baptist.

He married Lorene Wilson June 22, 1979 in Borger.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, David Carr of Amarillo; one step-son, Ken Johnson of Fritch; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Hess of Dumas; and Marilyn Carr of Bartlesville, Okla.; one step-daughter, Gwen Stimson of Borger; and a nephew, Harry Thomas of Salt Lake City, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Danny Ammons, Jeffery Ammons, Jerry Don Sweat, and Bobby Wilborn.
