LENOIR, N.C.-Jo Etta Dennis Cheek, 29, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996 in Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Borger with the Rev. Tom Harrison, pastor, and the Rev. Dale Bigham, pastor Arden Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.
A Pampa native, she was a longtime Borger resident before moving to North Carolina five years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Lenoir.
She married David Cheek on Feb. 29, 1992 in Gaffney, S.C.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dana Ann Dennis in 1959; two grandfathers, Earl Dennisin 1981 and Elmer Hilton in 1992.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Tyler of the home; her parents, David D. and Jerrie Dennis of Borger; a brother, James Dennis of Stinnett; a sister, Janet Green of Borger; maternal grandmother, Artie Hilton of Borger; and paternal grandmother, Opal Dennis of Borger.
