Services for Leon Clements, 80, of 812 N. Hedgecoke, who died at 5 p.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Hospital, were at 4 p.m. today in First Church of the Nazarene.

The Rev. Billy Duncan, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.

A native of Yowell, Mr. Clements moved to Borger in 1932. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. as a stillman for 17 years. He also owned and operated the '66 Service Station in Shamrock and then later was employed by Hawkins Ice Cream and With Holt's Food. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons, Master Sgt. Richard L. of Grissiam AFB, Indiana, and Frank of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Bryant Hutchinson of Dallas and Mrs. Helen Lundgren of Pasadena, Calif.; two brothers, W.W. Clements of Lovington, N.M., and Buck Clements of Lubbock; four sisters, Mrs. Lettie Nelson of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Lona Langley of Borger, Mrs. Nena Bridge of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. Ann Williams of Happy; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Buddy Ballard, Jack Dillard, Keith Hart, Don Holt, Doug Meador and Johnny OVRR.

BORGER - Judith Clements, 86, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Church of the Nazarene with Terry Porter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Beatitudes in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Clements was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Amarillo. She owned and operated Borger Answering Service from 1969 to 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Richard "Dick" Clements of Clarkson, Ky., and Kelly Frank Clements of Arlington; two daughters, Helen Lundgren of Pasadena, Calif., and Bryant Vanelle Hutchinson of Arlington; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
