JIMS LAKE - Fannie Nix Cornelius, 93, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cornelius, in 1970; her parents, Jim and Bessie Nix; a son, Michael "Mike" Cornelius in 1992; a brother; and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharlene Fowler and husband Jimmy D. of the Jims Lake area; two sons, Bill Cornelius and wife Cindy and James Cornelius, all of the Jim's Lake area; a brother, Fred E. Nix of Paden, Okla., six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
