*Obituary for Thomas
Thomas H. Covington, 72, of Dallas died Monday in Flint, Mich.
He was a retired electrician for Phillips Petroleum Co., and had formally lived in Phillips for 33 years.
Mr. Covington was a member of the Phillips Baptist Church, and the Isom Masonic Lodge AF & FM 1242.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Westlake of Casper, Wy., and Mrs. Elain Holmes of Russell, Kan.; one son, Thomas H. Jr., of Irving; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Shipman, Mrs. Elsie Shaw, and Mrs. Mary Gordon, all of Flint, Mich.; eight grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
Funeral services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Covington, 59, Phillips resident for 25 years, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church of Phillips with the Rev. John Street, pastor, officiating.
Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Simpson's.
Mrs. Covington died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Phillips, residing at 4 South Youker.
Surviving are the husband, T.H. Covington Sr.; son, T. H. Covington Jr., of Irving; daughters, Mrs. Bob Norris, Gillette, Wyo., Mrs. Jack Holmes, Farmington, N.M.; parents Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Bennett, White, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Mays, Mrs. Ruby Vaughn, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Mildred Roberts, Stone Mountain, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
Pall bearers include W.R. Rigdon, Bill Hays, Jack Hill, Emory Ewing, Emory Martin and Joe Andress.
