SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR W. J. WOODS, 80

Funeral services were conducted 3:30 p. m. Wednesday for William Jackson Woods, 80, who passed away at his residence, 707 N. Travis, early Tuesday following a lengthy illness.
Rev. E. J. Strong officiated from the Chapel of Green Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Woods was born in Paris, Louisiana, Sept. 7, 1880, the son of J. W. and Annie Sutcliff Woods. Moving to Milam County at the age of 3, he lived in Milano and Cameron most of his life. He was a retired dry goods merchant.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dahlia Woods of Cameron; one daughter, Mrs. L. B. McClendon of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Cave of Dallas; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ray Woods, Homer Woods, Grover Woods, Lloyd Weeds, Chas. Robinson and Chess Williams.
