Tahoka: Services for Betty Long Dickson 47, of Tahoka will be at 10 Am Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Becknal officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery in Post under the direction of White Funeral Home of Tahoka. She died on Tuesday, Oct 24, 2000 in Lubbock. She was born on Aug 24, 1953 in Lamesa. She attended Post and Tahoka schools. She was a longtime resident of Tahoka. She married Tommy Dickson on Feb 14, 1981, in Tahoka. She was a registered nurses' aide for 21 years. She was a member of Tahoka's First Baptist Church, where she was a nursery attendant. Survivors include her husband; her parents, RV and Billie Long both of Tahoka, a grandmother, Virgie Long of Louisiana; and a sister, Sherill Robison of Whitharral.
