Obituary for Joe
BORGER - Joe Floyd Derrick, 55, died Monday.

Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Derrick was a native of Oklahoma and had been a resident of Borger since 1946. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include one son, Neal of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Salmonn of Borger; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Mae Derrick of Seminole, Okla.; one brother, Richard E. of Bangkok, Thailand; and six sisters, Mrs. Due Richardson of Bonham, Mrs. Muriel Chambers of Perry, Okla., Mrs. Ella Mae Tye of Hutchinson, Kan., Mrs. Edith Jones of Seminole, Okla., Mrs. Georgia Lee Earley of Lewisville, and Mrs. Billye Blamire of Houston.

Obituary for Betty
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Derrick, 46, of 932 Western Avenue, will be at 2 p.m. Friday from Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Kenneth Jones, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Derrick died at 1:30 a.m. today at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo. She had been a Borger resident since 1946 and was employed as bookkeeper for Big Three Industrial, Inc. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe F. of the home; one son, Neal Lee Derrick of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Salmon of Borger; one brother, Raymond Fluty of Amarillo; one sister, Mrs. C.O. Blagg of Borger; and one granddaughter.
