September 16, 1926 - September 6, 2018

R.D. Draper, 91, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at his home in Fritch.

Services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the R.D. Draper Fund at Pantex Federal Credit Union.

R.D. was born September 16, 1926 in Lane, Oklahoma to Ira Clifton Draper and Verne Hutson Draper. He married Reita Carol Francis on August 8, 1948 in Chillicothe, Texas. R.D. proudly served in the United States Army. He is long time member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch. R.D. enjoyed hunting and fishing. Nothing brought more joy to his life than is family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Randy Draper; granddaughter, Monica Barter.

Survivors include two daughters, Deena Graham and her husband Buddy of Duncan, Oklahoma, Darla Riley of Fritch; six grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; brothers, William Draper of Vernon, Douglas Draper of North Carolina; sisters, Bea Lapham of North Carolina, LaVerne Rush and husband James of California, Lorene Stinson of Lubbock, and Lillian Barnes of Chillicothe.
